03Interview

Name, where are you from?
Scuti, I’m from South East London.

Describe your style in three words?
Random, comfortable, quirky.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Tokyo World, it was my first time seeing Krept & Konan perform, it was inspiring seeing the crowd interaction.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Cactus Jack and YSL as those two collectives have the artists that inspire me the most.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Stoner culture, I like astrology and being with the stars.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Young Thug, I like his set up and he seems like a wholesome person that makes great music.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Boiler Room ‘coz it’s a vibe, the energy is so lit.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Gully because I’ve seen his journey from a young teen till now, his music has consistently got better, yet he doesn’t receive the respect he deserves.

Scuti released her new EP 'Intoxication' in January 2022. Listen, purchase or stream it via smarturl.it/scutiep.
