Curry & PaxtonYvan Sunglasses
IDR 8,990,000
Introducing the second Yvan collection from Fred Perry and British eyewear specialist Curry & Paxton. One famous frame – three new and exclusive colourways to make a subcultural icon Match Fit.
Both Fred Perry and Curry & Paxton have a place in popular culture history which money can’t buy. Two British brands with iconic product; Fred Perry, founded in 1952 with its classic polo shirt and Curry & Paxton with an unrivalled pedigree in the optical world. Both brands are short-hand for originality, and this second collaboration continues to represent this shared niche. The Yvan frame was iconised by British film actor Michael Caine when he wore the glasses in the Len Deighton spy film, The Ipcress File in 1965: they remain the very epitome of sixties style. Caine opted for the frame again in 1969 in the British crime-caper, The Italian Job, although on this occasion sporting the sunglasses. Imagined in three new and exclusive Fred Perry colourways, we take a second look at a subcultural classic through the lens of what it means to be Match Fit.
