The first track you played on repeat?

Fugazi - Turnover

The track that got me hooked when I first heard Fugazi on YouTube. I usually listen to it on my worn-out vinyl copy of Repeater, which has since then become one of the most important records in my life.

A song from your favorite album?

Joy Division - The Eternal - 2007 Remaster

I've got no absolute favourites when it comes to records. But Joy Division with their classic LP 'Closer' changed a lot how I listen to music.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Sleaford Mods - Flipside

I've been lucky enough to catch Sleaford Mods twice last year. Once in Liverpool in March and sometime later in Turin. Both sweaty gigs. Loads of fun.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Lucio Battisti - Prendi fra le mani la testa

Uplifting jam from Italian '70s masterpiece Il Nostro Caro Angelo. Groovy.

A new song you're listening to?

The Heliocentrics - People Wake Up!

Best track from my 2020 record of the year. The Heliocentrics never fail to amaze me with their mesmerizing psychedelic jazz landscapes.

Best song to turn up loud?

The Stooges - 1970

Iggy and a nasty saxophone. 'Funhouse' MUST be played loud.

A song that defines the teenage you?

The Fall - Wings

The spirit of my teenage years is trapped in that guitar riff.

An anthemic song?

Keith mlevhu - Love And Freedom

Anthemic jam from Zambia's psychedelic nuggets. Love and Freedom - that's all you need.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Baxter Dury - Afternoon

When melancholia hits.
