Where are you from?

Describe your style in three words.
Post Mod Cyclist.
Which British subculture means the most to you?
Mod, when I heard The Jam it all changed for me and it's been ever present (although in different forms) since I was 13.
What British icons inspire you today?
Paul Weller, his music, style and politics, always constant and true.
I'm influenced by British and French new wave cinema. My favourite photographer is John Deakin but Richard Avedon is the greatest.
If you could share the bill with any British band in history - who would it be?
Beatles, without a doubt.
What was your all-time favourite gig?
Burt Bacharach, I danced and cried at the same time, wonderful. I also remember there was a heckler too, I mean who heckles Burt Bacharach?
Immersed in Mod culture, Scott Mitchell has photographed musicians including Steve Craddock, The Songbook Collective and The Moons, but in recent years has also become very well known in the cycling community as the photographer shooting for Team Sky and Bradley Wiggins.

Scott Walker - 'Montague Terrace (in Blue)', the whole song is beautiful poetry.
Is there a song you like that people wouldn’t expect?
Matt Monro - 'If I Never Sing Another Song'. I really like Easy Listening.
What music did you listen to growing up?
The Jam, every day as a schoolboy and very loud.

The Smiths - 'There is a Light'
Best song to turn up loud?
The Kinks - 'You Really Got Me'
Best song to bring people together?
The Beatles - 'Give Peace a Chance', actually maybe 'Hey Jude'.
