03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Eccentric, Psychedelic, Rocker

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Black Sabbath - N.I.B.

Learning guitar got me heavily in to Black Sabbath, constant CD in my little player!

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

IDLES - Well Done

Highlights everyone having their own path in life. Never compare yourselves to others. Lead your own way!

A song from your most memorable gig?

The Horrors - Count In Fives

Norwich Riverside. Sweat. Mosh. Climbing on the walls. Brilliant.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Boris Brejcha - Tiefgang

I love a bit of Techno. Always my choice on a big night out. Had to throw a Techno track in!

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

FONTAINES D.C. - Big

Found them when they supported Idles on tour. Great band. This song means a lot to me. It's powerful, has a message of growing up fast (whether naturally or forced to due to situation) and achieving your dreams.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

The Blinders - Gotta Get Through

Big tune! Seen them a few times! Always brings me back to those great times.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Nirvana - Love Buzz - Remastered

Long purple hair. It's before my time but like most teen of my age it was still an obsession if you didn't like the poppy crap on the radio.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

The Purple Lights - Not Alone

Had to throw one of our songs in there!

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Four Tet - Two Thousand and Seventeen

Calm that racing brain. Brings you down to a peaceful place.
