Name, where are you from?
Lolie, I live in Paris.

What do you do?
I am a manager at Fred Perry and a street artist/painter.

Describe your style in three words:
Cool, versatile, evolving.

Which music defines the teenage you?
I listened to a lot of Punk Rock and post-punk/cold wave as a teen.

A British icon or band who inspire your sound?
Bowie, but he is more a visual and artistic inspiration. In terms of sound I’m very into hip hop/ grime these days, so definitely Skepta.

What is the last piece of music you bought?
I purchased Gardna x Kreed’s vinyl and streamed Adian Coker’s Buena Vistas.

What has been your all-time favourite gig?
Kasabian, they are amazing live.

04Playlist Notes

What was the first song you played on repeat?
'Revolution' by The Beatles.
My dad taught me how to use our turntable and amp when I was six and I played all the records he had until I listened to that song - I was completely obsessed with it.

A song from your favourite album?
‘Vapour Trail' by Ride and 'Back Home' by ASAP Rocky (loving that Jerry Butler sample).

A song you wish you’d written?
'Stand By Me' by Oasis.

Most meaningful lyrics to inspire change?
'Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay' by Otis Redding.

Best song to bring people together?
'Fit But You Know It' by The Streets.

Best love song of all time?
'Pictures Of You' by The Cure.

Is there a song you like that people wouldn’t expect?
It could be anything on my Spotify actually, I listen to a lot of different things and I don’t think I belong to a category in particular. And also there are a few ones I really can’t confess...
