The K's, Earlestown.
Describe your style in three words?
Best In Earlestown.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
There’s too many to choose from, I’d probably have to go for one of The View gigs in my early teens. That’s when I was starting to learn what its all about and they definitely helped open my eyes.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
I’d go for the Jam and The Clash. No contest really.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
I’ve been around Punk since I was very young because of my Dad and it's still all any of us listen to now. That’s definitely my main influence musically. The way the songs are written and things they’re written about just leaves me in awe. Nothing comes close.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Erm… Jesus. See what crack is there.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
I think Gorilla, Manchester is probably all of our favourite. It's by far the biggest headline we’ve played to date and to sell it out with only one single out was class. The crowd were mental from start to finish.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Unsung? I’d probably say, Ryan or Gary Jarman. The Cribs are one of the best bands of my lifetime but if I asked someone in the street about either of them they’d probably have no idea!

'All Mod Cons' by The Jam. Track 'Mr Clean'.

A song you wished you had written?
'Live Forever' by Oasis.
Best song to turn up loud?
'Reptilia' by The Strokes. Blow my head off, Julian.
A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
I’m actually a massive Sia fan. I’m not sure many people would assume that but I think she’s mint. I’ll go 'Chandelier' by Sia.
The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
Haha, I’d go 'All Night Long' by Lionel Richie. Everyone likes that song.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
'Closing Time' by Semisonic.
Any new bands you are into at the moment?
I’m a massive fan of what DMA’s are doing, they’re well on track to be huge. I’ve also recently stumbled across a Scottish lad called Gerry Cinnamon who is class. Had the pleasure of seeing them both last weekend!
