Name, where are you from?
Zuzu, Liverpool.

Describe your style in three words?
Scouse girl energy.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Sefton Park Pilot event back in May. It was the most incredible atmosphere, it’s hard to put into words. It was the first time live music had opened up since Covid and the crowd were just a dream. So much love in that tent! Sang my heart out to Blossoms!

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Arctic Monkeys. Obsessed since I was a kid. Wouldn’t be making the music I am today if not for them. The Beatles. Obvious I know but what I would GIVE to meet any of The Beatles. They’re God’s in my family home!

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Emo!!! Went through a proper emo phase, that’s when I found Conor Oberst who has been one of my favourite artists of all time ever since.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Wow, that’s hard to pick just one! The first person that came to my mind was Dianna Ross. She has always been a huge inspiration for me. I bet she has some killer advice. I could show her the tattoo I have of her face hahaha.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Arts Bar in Liverpool. It’s not the fanciest place I’ve ever played but it’s been a part of Liverpool for as long as I can remember. It used to be the Barfly when we were kids.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Gonna mention Conor Oberst again here! It’s not that he doesn’t have a dedicated following cause he does but I still think he might be the most underrated lyricist ever. He writes songs like nobody else and I don’t think he gets enough credit for it.
