Set up by South-London skater, designer and artist, Blondey McCoy, Thames is a tribute to British youth culture. Our collaboration merges together our world and theirs, treading the line between street-style and functioning sportswear. Originally used to warm-up on the tennis court, the bomber was taken from the shoulders of tennis champions, onto the backs of British subcultures. Thames reworks the iconic piece using a heavy cotton-blend knit. The style looks back to ‘90s tennis-wear, and customised P.E kits worn by schoolkids. The retro blue synonymous with the era features across the bomber in colour-blocked panels. Classic sportswear meets nostalgic ‘90s streetwear.
