Iconic Blur frontman Damon Albarn will, for the first time, headline the London Royal Albert Hall this weekend, joined by Blur bandmate Graham Coxon, on 15th and 16th Nov 2014. The pair appeared together at Latitude festival earlier this year, where they performed 'Tender' together.

Albarn will be performing with his live band The Heavy Seas in support of recent album Everyday Robots which Albarn described as his "most personal record" so far. Co-produced with Richard Russell, it was released on 25 April and features Brian Eno, Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) and the Leytonstone City Mission Choir. It was nominated for the 2014 Mercury Prize.

Also making an appearance at the Albert Hall will be De La Soul and Vic Mensa. There are still a very limited number of tickets available here.

Albarn has suggested the Blur album which was started in 2013 may never be finished, but claims a new album by other project The Good, The Bad & The Queen will be released, and that new music from Gorillaz is also on the horizon. The Good, The Bad & The Queen project originally included Albarn, Paul Simonon of The Clash, Simon Tong of the Verve, Nigerian drummer Tony Allen and producer Danger Mouse and released the album called The Good, the Bad & the Queen in 2007 whilst still unnamed.
