Polaroid Kiss are a UK–Swedish Indie Electro-Rock group, currently based in Stockholm, and the principal name under which Brandun Reed has recorded since 2006. Polaroid Kiss also features lyricist Ian Pickering (formerly of Sneaker Pimps) as an official member.

Producer Brandun Reed formed Polaroid Kiss in 2006 as a means of collaborating musically with those who had inspired him. He began by demoing several electro-rock/indie-dance influenced songs with emo vocalist Tom Bennett. Only two tracks from this initial period were released, the promo single, "White Lies & White Lines", and the track "Stop-Motion" which was featured on the 2009 Major Records (Germany) compilation album Orbit Electro Vol. 1. PK performed several short live sets, including opening for IAMX before the project was shut down indefinitely due to personal reasons.

Back in 2005 while living in San Francisco, California, Brandun was introduced to former Sneaker Pimps vocalist Kelli Ali. Shortly afterwards they collaborated on a track called "Blackout Friends". In 2008 both were creatively available and decided to reform Polaroid Kiss as a duo, producing several demos. Due to other obligations Kelli and Brandun were forced to shelve the project.

Shortly after relocating from San Francisco to Stockholm, Sweden in 2009, Brandun felt there was much potential for Polaroid Kiss and recruited friends Steven Hewitt (Placebo, Love Amongst Ruin), Perry Bamonte (The Cure), Martin Skold (Kent), Craig Grant (Union of Knives, Song of Return), Sarah Blackwood (Dubstar, Client) & Ian Pickering (Sneaker Pimps) to record a wealth of new material.

Thus far the recording sessions have resulted in the release of a 4 track EP entitled The New Coliseum and the 4 track single Pay Your Dues. On January, 7, 2012 the band announced via their Facebook page that John Fryer will be mixing their debut full length album Weakness of The Beautiful Souls (Due for release in 2012). Their first release of 2012 will be the Assemblage 23 remix of ‘Pay Your Dues’ on the Conzoom Records ‘Electro-Pop’ compilation.
