Name, where are you from?
ARCADES. Leicester.

Describe your style in three words:
Damp, soggy, wet.

How should your music be listened to?
Turn it up and get in the zone.

A British music icon that has inspired you?
John Lennon! Ever since I was a kid I've loved him. I remember sitting in front of the TV when I was eight watching some Mickey Mouse Top Of The Pops thing (Don’t ask why) a Beatles cover band came on and it literally changed my life. I started dressing up in a suit and flap cap and would go to school telling people I'm in The Beatles singing 'Love Me Do' in the playground. Yeah got a few black eyes for that.

Which new British bands are you listening to at the moment?
I’m loving RedFaces single 'Kerosene' at the moment it’s an absolute banger in my opinion. Another band we’re big fans of is Black Honey. They've got a proper cool vibe about them and their singer Izzy has got it going on man. I think she could front any band and rock it.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Hands down Kasabian’s Victoria Park show in Leicester. We’re from the same area as them so it’s mad seeing a band that's so close to home do something so big. I’ve never seen anything like it. All the pubs in the city centre ran out of booze hours before the show. People were stopping traffic to just party in the middle of the road. We closed a main road ourselves with some traffic stop signs we found. Then the Police came along and enforced it.

If you could make a record with anyone from history, who would it be?
David Bowie easy. Just the way he did it from the music to the image side of things was just like WOW! I don’t think anyone in our lifetime will ever come close to him.

04Playlist Notes

The first song you played on repeat?
'Angels' by Robbie Williams. (Tragic I know it’s called spending to much time with my mum when I was nipper).

A song you wish you’d written?
'Don’t Look Back In Anger' by Oasis.

The last piece of music you bought?
'Sunglasses for Jaws' (Soundtrack album).

A song from your favourite album?
'Pattern' by The Last Shadow Puppets.

The best love song of all time?
'You're The Best Thing' by The Style Council.

A song you like that people wouldn’t expect?
'Reach' by S Club 7. (Think that's worse than my answer to question number one).

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Morning Glory' by Oasis.

Most meaningful lyrics to inspire change?
'Imagine' (Just that word itself sang by Lennon).
