Name, where are you from?
Eve Owen, London.

Describe your style in three words?
Bad, comfy, bright.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Radiohead at Madison Square Garden.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Phoebe Bridgers: I love the peacefulness in her voice.
Maggie Rogers: I love her energy and aura when she sings.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
'60s Greenwich Village folk scene- everyone was independent about what they thought was cool: the music made in that community really changed the game.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I want to say Bob Dylan but I’m aware that he has better things to do.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
I saw Joan Baez at the Royal Albert Hall. Sounds silly but I love the shape of the venue.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Spooky Black: he creates really original atmospheres.

Eva Owen's debut album 'Don’t Let The Ink Dry' will be released 8th May 2020, pre-order it at lnk.to/SoStillForYou.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
'Video Games' by Lana del Rey.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Fourth Of July' by Sufjan Stevens. My uncle made my mum a playlist and this was the last song on the CD. I had never heard anything more true before that.

One record you would keep forever?
'For Emma, Forever Ago' by Bon Iver.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
“It’s the side effects that save us.”

From 'Graceless' by The National.

The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
'Heroes' by David Bowie.

A song you wished you had written?
'Lilac Wine' by Jess Buckley.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Seventeen' by Sharon Van Etten.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'This Is America' by Childish Gambino.

Best song to end an all-nighter on?
Never done one but if I did, 'Hoppipolla' by Sigur Ros.

Any new music you are listening to right now?
'Corduroy' by Molly Payton.
'Frame Of Reference' by Drug Store Romeos.
