Gab Winterfield, Balmoral, Sydney Australia.
Describe your style in three words?
colourful, casual, removed.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
I saw Mulatu Astatke in Corsica.

Miles Davis and Jimi Hendrix.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
The beatnik movement of the '50s and '60s - it feels like the beginning.
I think I grew up in a subculture in Sydney as well, it doesn’t have a name yet and I don’t think anyone will write about it... but it felt real to me.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Leonardo Da Vinci haha. How'd he get so good at painting and inventing?
Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
The Surf Lodge in Montauk is a Vibe. I also love the village underground in London. I like how it looks and sounds. Lastly Coachella because palm trees.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Eden Ahbez is important to me, bringing consciousness to the bucolic.
