Describe your style in three words?
Eclectic thrift tornado.
The first track you played on repeat?
Yaki-Da - Show Me Love
I was about fourteen. Hijacked the single off my cousin. Would listen in teenage angst.
A song from your favorite album?
Metronomy - Salted Caramel Ice Cream
This song is for any time. Anywhere. Any day. Any emotion. Top tier joy!
A song from your most memorable gig?
Basement Jaxx - Do Your Thing
Glastonbury. I’d lost my tribe. I’d made new mates. Created a wicker wand in the healing fields and was off to see these guys on my one bob. As they began, I found everyone. Pure euphoria! Banging track!
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Simian Mobile Disco - Hustler
This is my anthem. My mates probably get sick of me banging this on. But really, they’re all welcome. From one of my most listened to albums. Ever.
A new song you're listening to?
Metronomy - It's good to be back
One of my favourite bands from the past fifteen years. New single from t’new album and I love how jolly it is.
Best song to turn up loud?
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
My wife and I have been singing this LOUD for many a year, we still only really actually know the chorus but if ya turn it up. It’s better and nobody knows ya absolutely winging it. Huzzah!
A song that defines the teenage you?
Snoop Dogg - Gin N Juice (feat. Dat Nigga Daz)
I will happily sing this entire album AT you.
An anthemic song?
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody - Remastered 2011
I just don’t trust folk that don’t a) love this song and b) know all the words.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Marie Davidson - Work It - Soulwax Remix
This song is basically THE SEX.
