03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Skinhead punk casual.

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset - Mono Mix

No clue where, but I used to love The Kinks when I was little.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

Mudhoney - Touch Me I'm Sick

Second band I saw live, great fun. I would if chosen 'Guitar Wolf' by Jet Generation but it's not on Spotify.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Guitar Wolf - LOVE&JETT

best band to see live, absolutely f*cking mental. Seen them twice, first when I was 14 in 2016 and last year. Bass player was playing on the ceiling, great stuff.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Iggy Pop - Lust For Life

I don’t know how Iggy's still alive.

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Motörhead - I Don't Believe a Word

Learning about Lemmy and Motörhead is interesting, music's pretty good too.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Dizzee Rascal - Bassline Junkie

Banger.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Rizzle Kicks - Down With The Trumpets

Going out with my mates when I was little.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds - Three Lions

No explanation.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

The Soup Dragons - I'm Free

It’s a good song.
