A Stephen Photo
Describe your style in three words?
Classic old school.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
The Stranglers - Hanging Around - 1996 Remaster
School disco 1982.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Blondie - Picture This
Sparked my lifetime love of photography.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Specials - Too Much Too Young - 2002 Remaster
Splendour 2019... The last time I spent a wonderful day with my wife of 25 years, Before we separated... Everything was just fine and dandy for that brief time as we both danced to The Specials in top form.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax
Takes me back to being 18... played everywhere and banned on Radio 1!!
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Liam Gallagher - Wall Of Glass
Still speaks his mind and can churn out a top tune after Oasis.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
The Stranglers - No More Heroes - 1996 Remaster
Back end of the punk era at its finest.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
B-Movie - Nowhere Girl
Mixing it with some of the coolest people in Nottingham in the early '80s.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Oasis - Wonderwall
Goosebumps every time.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The Smiths - There Is a Light That Never Goes Out - 2011 Remaster
Melancholic that I always feel at the end of the night.
