Based on the M3600 – our classic twin tipped piece – the Adaptive Fred Perry Shirt has been crafted with two magnetic fastenings for increased ease of dressing. With this change to the way our iconic shirt’s placket is opened and closed, we aim to make it easier for people with low dexterity or accessibility needs to wear the Fred Perry Shirt. In terms of fit, fabrication and detailing, each stitch remains consistent with the original M3600. Right down to the duo of cosmetic buttons at the placket, every effort has gone into making sure that this new piece sits seamlessly amongst our existing line of Fred Perry Shirts. The same shirt – adapted. This shirt has magnets sewn into it, which can interfere with active implantable cardiovascular devices like pacemakers or defibrillators. If someone uses one of these devices, they should check with their doctor before wearing the shirt. Also, ingesting magnets is dangerous. If a magnet comes loose and is swallowed, the person should seek medical help immediately, even if they’re not choking.
