Leeds band, China Rats, are suddenly getting lots of attention, not least with their eye grabbing video for new track 'N.O.M.O.N.E.Y.' (see below), created by acclaimed animator Richard Swarbrick. The song's financial sentiment will strike a chord with many a young man/woman, and the pure guitar energy central to the song only serves to drive it home further - a timeless piece of punk-spiked indie rock 'n' roll, that will have you bopping your money worries away in no time.
Their 'Don’t Play With Fire EP' will be available through all usual channels but, in keeping with the message of 'N.O.M.O.N.E.Y.', it will be available on a 'pay what you can' basis through Bandcamp.
China Rats are also giving away free entry to all their headline dates for the first five people who turn up and can prove that they have 'no money'. Free entry will be at the discretion of the venues so people are advised to 'get creative'.
