Reading four-piece Sundara Karma have released details of a brand new tour, kicking off in May, including London’s Heaven on 26th May, followed by Dot to Dot in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham.
The band have a had busy start to the year touring having embarked on a string of dates across Europe last month supporting grunge-poppers Wolf Alice and performing at the Sony BRITs Week Gig alongside Bring Me The Horizon at London’s Brixton Electric in February.
Latest single ‘A Young Understanding’ (released March 25th Chess Club / RCA) is an urgent, adrenaline charged rush which further underlines Sundara Karma’s reputation as one of the most exciting young bands to emerge in recent years.
Led by charismatic frontman Oscar Lulu, Sundara Karma are masters at crafting bright, panoramic indie rock that deals with young romance and a yearning to escape small town mundanity.
In the words of Oscar Lulu:
‘The song focuses on the terrifying, darker side of growing up, but at the same time it plays that fear down by generalising all these feelings and thoughts as just being "A Young Understanding”.
