Hailing from the West Midlands, UK, The Rimes, have released a 60s-infused gem of a song as 'The Feeling', complete with addictive riffs, gorgeous melodies, gripping lyrics, and a cinematic, stylish video to top, featuring the band members driving around a picturest countryside setting in a beautiful vintage car before it breaks down and they continue on foot.
The song was written between Jamie and Ryan while 'thrashing ideas around, fuelled by caffeine and nicotine, highlighting the disconnect between the lost generation and the capricious nature of reality. Simply working to live and living to work.'
Having recently played a storming show in Birmingham to mark the release of 'This Feeling,' The Rimes are soon due to release their EP Avalanche, due for release 28th September. They have just shot the accompanying video Paris, and will be taking their cinematic visual style to a small number of independent film festivals.
Catch The Rimes at the following live dates:
5th September - Wednesday Town Hall (Charity Festival for the late Jon Brooks (The Charlatans)
28th September - London Avalanche (Release party)
