Name, where are you from?
Connar, Jonn & Sam, from Colchester, Essex.

Describe your style in three words?
Nice and spicy.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Queens Of The Stone Age at Reading Festival was crazy, their new single 'The Way You Used To Do' was great, Josh Homme really shines.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Rage Against The Machine and Nirvana would be a dream.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Goth, Punk and New Romantic definitely. Marilyn Manson has always been a big influence of ours, clever songs which really pushed the boundaries and a wicked look. Punk music gave people such a voice and still does which is so important and really shows in our music too, especially with what some of our songs are about. We also grew listening to loads of Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, The Cure and Eurythmics. Insane bands. Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics is an all-time favourite.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Robin Williams because he's hilarious and there would never be a dull moment.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Electric Brixton with FIDLAR was amazing. It was sold out and the venue was lovely, FIDLAR are also the nicest guys too.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Our current hero is Stu McKenzie from King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard for releasing 5 albums in 2017 and touring. Takes some real hard work and the music is great. We hope one day to write as much gold as that man can.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
'All Day And All Of The Night' by The Kinks.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Tainted Love' by Soft Cell and 'Welcome To Paradise' by Green Day.

One record you would keep forever?
'In Utero' by Nirvana.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
"My computer thinks I'm gay."

'Too Many Friends' by Placebo.

A song you wished you had written?
'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' by Micheal Jackson.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Acetate' by Metz.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Tragedy' by Bee Gees.

Best song to end an all-nighter on?
'Sweetheart, What Have You Done To Us' by Keaton Henson.

Any new bands you are listening to right now?
