We join forces with the Museum of Youth Culture to launch ‘From Bedrooms to Basements’ – a pop-up exhibition dedicated to the styles, scenes and sounds forged by young people over the last 100 years.

The first of its kind, The Museum of Youth Culture was set up to document the attitudes, styles and expressions of youth across the UK. Its aim: to inspire future generations to make their own mark on the world around them.

From Thursday 30th January, we’ll be working with The Museum of Youth Culture to host a pop-up exhibition in our Camden shop. Featuring crowdsourced photography and youth culture ephemera, the exhibition traces a century of youth culture and style through personal stories and original archive Fred Perry pieces. A selection of these images and objects will also be displayed in Fred Perry Henrietta Street, London.

The exhibitions will also feature our exclusive DIY Scanning Booths, allowing you to take part in the exhibition. From teenage bedrooms covered in band posters, to sweaty basement clubs in your local town, we want to celebrate your history. Come to one of our scanning booths with photographs, flyers or paper ephemera and become part of the Museum of Youth Culture. Every submission has the chance of being featured across our social media channels and included within future exhibitions.
