The Fred Perry barrel bag is reinterpreted by Nicholas Daley in ‘70s shades and aged PU. Designed with screen-printed branding and striped webbing handles, the outer slip pocket is trimmed with canvas webbing and badges.
We invite collaborators to put their stamp on one of our most distinctive silhouettes. Used by sportsmen and women for decades, the barrel bag remains unmistakably Fred Perry. Nicholas Daley reinterprets the bag using his own unique style codes, taking inspiration from ‘70s counterculture and his parents’ club night which ignited reggae sound system culture in the UK. The aged-PU and rich shades of tan and port are synonymous with this era. For the branding, Daley enlists the help of Nepalese illustrator Gaurab Thakali, whose love of underground jazz scenes permeates his work. The keyring tabs and removable badges allow for personal customisation – something Nicholas Daley invites you to embrace.
