It's been a year of huge performances for Arctic Monkeys; playing the Olympics opening ceremony last year, and this summer, headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. Now, Sheffield Rock band Arctic Monkeys have released fifth album ‘AM’ on 9th September 2013, and it's arguably the best and most astonishing record of their career to date.

‘AM’ was produced by long term producer friend James Ford who has worked on almost all preceding Arctic Monkeys albums, and who played drums in Alex Turner's side project band The Last Shadow Puppets alongside Miles KaneJosh Homme, Pete Thomas and Bill Ryder-Jones all make guest appearances on ‘AM’, along with the words of John Cooper Clarke, on the track 'I Wanna Be Yours.'

'AM', is the product of nearly an entire year’s work within a rented studio in LA, where the lads have been living. There is evidence of a much more focused, higher level of production throughout this album, particularly the vocals.
