Southampton based band The Lost Boys consists of singer and guitarist Daniel Ash, Shaun Ashley on lead guitar, James Millar on bass, drummer Jason Daniels and live keys player; Alex Brackley.

Having previously released two well received EPs 'Not Arf It's The Lost Boys' and 'Answers On A Postcard,' their brand new single is 'No Kisses' which will be released November 1st. It was recorded at Paul Weller's Black Barn Studio after he very kindly invited them there, and was recorded and produced by Charles Rees, Paul's engineer.

The single features 2 B-Sides also recorded at Black Barn, one 'Takes Me There' featuring Paul's keyboard player/Frontman and brilliant songwriter in his own right to The Moons; Andy Crofts.

The song is a little country-tinged pop number about receiving texts from your partner that suddenly finish with less and less kisses, so in your head you start thinking 'Ooh err! This is coming to an end soon!'. More than anything it's about the human nature of picking up on stupid things like that.  The Lost Boys member wrote 'I'm a bit of an over-thinker so I end up writing about all these stupid situations and thought processes I have.'

The video was filmed by Marcus James Palmer and Alice Berry, over a selection of gigs and a sunny afternoon in September.

The lads will be opening for Paul Weller at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 19th October.

The Lost Boys commented on their securing of a support slot of the 'Modfather' himself;

'If you had told me this when I was 13 and carving Paul Weller's name onto my school desk, I would have never believed it. Ever. He was always my hero and main songwriting inspiration. I even had my own customised 'Weller Wardrobe' so this is the Holy Grail of gigs I've been dreaming of for years.

Paul has been a total gentleman and we can't thank him enough. We are eternally grateful for this amazing opportunity he's given us and will get on that stage and play the best show of our lives. It's a testament to what an amazing, supportive person he is for him to give us this chance, an unsigned band, no manager, no booking agent- just us.'

'No Kisses' b/w B-Sides 'Takes Me There' and 'Statues In The Rain' will be released 1st November on iTunes/Spotify.
