Manchester's PINS have become regulars on Fred Perry Subculture, having supported The Fall at our Sub-Sonic Live gig in November 2014 and playing Dot to Dot Festival in 2013 and 2015.
Their performance at the festival this year included material from their new LP 'Wild Nights', an album we've been very keen to hear, given their strong track record together with that of its recording location - Rancho De La Luna, Joshua Tree, with Dave Catching at the controls.
Two live videos from PINS' recent Dot to Dot show, featuring new tracks 'Young Girls' and 'Dazed By You', can be watched below:
As many readers will be aware, Rancho De La Luna is the birthplace of huge albums from, amongst other artists, Queens Of The Stone Age, Mark Lanegan, Kyuss and Sheffield's finest, Arctic Monkeys, who recorded their 2013 album AM at the desert studio. Famed for its warm analogue results and its artistic retreat ethos, the Manchester group had ambitions to record at the studio for a while.
