Huang, Po-Han (Vocal/Guitar/Super Power Rocket)
Liu, Hsiu-Chi (Vocal/Guitar)
Lin, Guan-You (Keyboard)
Kang, Ting-Wen (Bass)
Wang, Chung-Chi (Drum)
From Taiwan.
What do you do?
Musicians/Amazing Show.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
H: Fireball Festival.
P: Soul Wave Festival.
G: Fireball Festival 2019, Wake Up Festival 2018.
T: Unlimited Freedom Festival.
C: Warm Up Festival 2019.
We had a performance with TEMPALAY at The Wall in Taiwan. It was a great gig!
Which subcultures have influenced you?
H: The manga culture of Japan and the punk subculture of the UK. Movies like, 'Trainspotting' and 'A Clockwork Orange' also have a lot of influence, too. The same goes for Britpop from the ‘90s.
P: Japanese manga.
G: Japanese manga.
T: 'Trainspotting' and manga.
C: Hip-hop and heavy metal.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
P: Sludge Sprout. It’s located in Taishan, with several shipping containers on site. I was really impressed with the place.
T: The venue of Fireball Fest. It’s right inside a baseball stadium.
C: Fireball Festival. It’s great that they held the event inside a baseball stadium. Having rehearsals in Taipei Arena has been an awesome experience, although they were just rehearsals.
Perhaps one of the organizers for Fireball Festival is from Japan, and that’s why there was all-you-can-eat Ichiran Ramen. There were bars serving alcohol, too. It was really interesting.
If you could be on the line up with any bands in history?
H: UK group Gorillaz and Kome Kome Club from Japan.
P: Yellow Magic Orchestra and The Prodigy. Once a Japanese customs officer asked if we were going to perform with Yoshiki after we landed. We just said, "yes, we are!". It was fun to say it.
G: X Japan, Queen, Bon Jovi.
T: YMO, Radiohead.
C: Bring Me the Horizon.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
H: I’d love to work alongside Damon Albarn to produce music and animation.
P: Sherlock Holmes. Nothing much, I just want to sit next to him.
G: Fujiwara Takumi (a character from manga 'Initial D'), I’d love to sit at the front passenger seat next to him. This would be totally unreal! I also want to have Gordon Ramsay cook for me.
T: Yoshihiro Togashi (manga artist).
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
H: My grandpa, who is a blind singer. He taught my mom music and asked her to teach it to me. He even had her buy me a guitar. Of course, I did also learn music from him, too.
P: Lagama Macy.
G: The Locals.
T: Seiji Kameda.
C: Yussef Dayes.
The first track you played on repeat?
H: 'For Tomorrow' by Blur, 'On Melancholy Hill' by Gorillaz or 'Cruel Angel’s Thesis' by Yoko Takahashi.
P: 'Lilian' by Song Dongye.
G: 'Girl, Look Over Here' by Richie Ren.
T: 'Green Girl' by Indigo la End or 'Yellow' by Coldplay.

H: 'Help!' by The Beatles, 'Westview' by Monkey Magic.
P: 'Omnipotent Youth Society' by Omnipotent Youth Society.
T: 'Tourist History' by Two Door Cinema Club.
C: 'In Rainbows' by Radiohead.
These albums are the cream of the crop among all of our favourite music. We can listen to them for a long time, without ever feeling sick.

H: 'Something Just Like This' by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay.
P: 'Bela Lugosi’s Dead' by Bauhaus.
G: 'Suddenly Missing You So Bad' by Mayday.
