The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop

All through my childhood I had the Red Hot Chili Peppers on repeat - I wanted to be the next John Frusciante and this was the first song I really wanted to learn on guitar.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

Happyness - Montreal Rock Band Somewhere - Bonus Track

This track was one that I listened to when daydreaming/reflecting, and it always made me feel calm and at ease with my surroundings. I listened to the album daily for years, and was a great accompaniment for travelling, thinking, partying.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Ohtis - Runnin

Ohtis played The Lexington in London for Line Of Best Fit's Five Day Forecast this year. Seeing the fragility of the music stripped down for an acoustic set was amazing - all the songs have a deep backstory so it was a very visual and moving gig.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Van Halen - Panama - 2015 Remaster

My friends back home in Wales are into a lot of great guitar music and we always used to listen to Van Halen before going out or at house parties. This song in particular has a great riff, and definitely provokes me to play air guitar and headbang haha.

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

Collard - Ground Control

The song has quite a dark undertone to it, but still has a banging beat. Collard also enlisted the help of Kojey Radical for this track, who I think is a great fit. Collard has quite a soft voice, while Kojey expresses his emotion through his punchy flow.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

DJ Quik - Dollaz + Sense

I listen to this when i'm getting ready to go out, cleaning the flat, driving, or just in an upbeat mood. It's got that old school West Coast hip-hop vibe, it'll have you head bopping, and the chorus is super catchy.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Bloc Party - This Modern Love

This is easily my most played song throughout school. I used to walk to the park, get the bus to school, and run to this song all the time. It felt like quite a sad song to me and I liked tapping into that emotion for some reason.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

Pavement - Cut Your Hair

The "ooh's" in this song used to get everyone singing along at house parties when I was younger. Stephen Malkmus' vocals are great in this too and my friends and I loved singing along to this at the top of our lungs.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Moby - Porcelain

It's very soothing and euphoric track, the kind of tune that makes you feel like you're in paradise watching the sun come up. The dreaminess of it is great to wind down to.
