Describe your style in three words?
Soulful, clean, honest

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Kings Of Leon - their pyro is the best.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Nirvana and Whitney Houston simply because they're both such interesting acts and important to my musical upbringing. I would love to be on the same festival line up as my idol, Whitney and I think Nirvana because they are such a cool band and witnessing all their songs live would have everyone thriving.

Which Subcultures have influenced you?
British Indie - my music is definitely more pop, but I've grown up around and always loved bands like The Smiths and more recently The 1975. Musically I can relate to it because the songs are always so lyrically strong, which I love.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I'd love to talk to Anthony Kedis. I've just finished his book, it's unbelievable, he has so many stories!

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
I was lucky enough to tour with Khalid, the stand out show was at Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, it was the biggest show of the tour, and the vibe was unreal.

Your greatest hero or heroine in music?
Amy Winehouse - I just love her honesty, and she definitely didn't hold back in any of her songs. Her voice and persona was just incredible. She's still missed.

Still only 19 years old, Liv Dawson has spent the last couple of years experimenting with her soulful sound and visual style and sharing the stage with the like of Khalid and Jessie Ware. Her latest single 'Talk' is out now and promises to be her most accomplished release yet.
