Describe your style in three words?
Comfortable, eclectic, cartoonish.
The first track you played on repeat?
Blue Öyster Cult - (Don't Fear) The Reaper
I remember my dad would always listen to this whenever we went on holidays, and when I was old enough to get my own phone, this was the song I’d play on repeat on the way home from school.
A song from your favorite album?
ATEEZ - One Day At A Time
I often struggle with my mental health, especially at the moment with the way the world is (what even was 2020?!) and this is one of those songs that always helps me get back into a better headspace.
A song from your most memorable gig?
EXO - EL DORADO
I’ve never been lucky enough to go to a gig before so I watched them when they are streamed online instead. It's a song I listen to often now, but I remember the first time I saw the performance I was mesmerized and screamed it along with them at the top of my lungs.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
SUNMI - Gashina
This was my first Sunmi song and I remember watching the music video for the first time and finding it a bit weird. However it soon got stuck in my head and after watching the performance a lot, I soon learned it and whenever it comes on I can't help but dance along.
A new song you're listening to?
ONEUS - BLACK MIRROR
ONEUS is a group I got into recently, and I always enjoyed their songs, but something about this one particular song just gives me happy summer vibes and that is very welcome at the moment.
Best song to turn up loud?
FTISLAND - Take Me Now
I love to sing along to it whenever I feel stuck in a situation or stressed and it makes it all go away. I also can’t help but instinctually turn up the volume whenever it comes on.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Muse - The Handler
This song reminds me a lot of my time at high school. I felt like I never really fit in because I grew up with a lot of '80s rock songs. I remember finding a little group of friends who all had similar tastes to me and that is how I found Muse and this song in particular.
An anthemic song?
Dire Straits - Money For Nothing
This song is always on whenever me and my boyfriend go for drives. It is such an iconic song and still makes me smile every time I listen to it. It also brings back a lot of really happy memories for me and I’m sure for many other people too.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
KIM WOO SEOK - Red Moon
A lot of my songs tend to be rock or have dark themes so when I just want to relax I tend to gravitate towards slower songs like this. I found it recently but it quickly became a favourite of mine when I want to unwind.
