What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Wednesday Campanella, live in Taipei Legacy was an interesting gig to attend. During the performance, crazy interactive devices blew our minds and broadened our thoughts on how shows in small venues could be brought out.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
Hipster subculture has influenced us a lot since we are a folk-rock based indie band, lots of hipster music elements are added in our music and the soul of freedom long lives with us.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Small venues are the best. Revolver, a music venue in Taipei which is also a bar, has been our favourite. There is no distance between the stage and crowd and has a good atmosphere, and the listings always include amazing artists.
If you could be on the line up with any bands in history?
James Marshall Hendrix or Of Monsters and Men, and X Japan.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I wanna sit on the sofa and chill out with John Lennon.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Rich Costey is an unsung hero while celebrated as an American record producer. He produced great works such as ‘Beneath the Skin’ (OMAM, 2015), ‘Block Holes and revelation’ (MUSE, 2006), ‘Kintsugi’ (Death Cab for Cutie, 2015).
